TREE REMOVAL
Various factors may contribute to your decision that one or more of your trees should be removed. Obviously, dead trees must be removed, but the decision to remove a living tree can be more complicated. Often, a tree that once looked nice growing just a few feet from a house becomes overbearing or hazardous as it grows and ages. Certain trees have very aggressive root systems that can cause foundation damage. In some cases, animals or insects burrough into the supporting trunk of the tree increasing the likelihood of trunk failure. Sometimes achieving the desired aesthetic (more light, better spacing, etc.) requires the removal of perfectly healthy trees. |

Removing a tree can be a tough decision, but we will be happy to help you understand the options and to make the wisest decision for your situation.
The series of pictures below demonstrates a procedure called "false-crotching". This is a common method employed in removing large sections of wood in confined spaces. Often there is enough space to drop an entire tree to the ground, but when space is limited a tree must be pieced to the ground using a combination of ropes and rigging hardware. The cost of removing a tree at your property will depend on how easily it can be brought to the ground and how much material must be removed. |
